THE BLACK BUOY HAS RE-OPENED!
PRESS RELEASE HERE
Welcome to the Black Buoy, a 300-year-old inn close to the River Colne, recently restored and re-opened as a Free House. Behind its quaint brick frontage you will find a warm welcome and characterful setting, with roaring fires, beamed ceilings, wooden floors and echoes of the pub’s nautical history.
As a freehold pub, we offer a range of bespoke real ales, guest ales and beers, and serve excellent British pub food – with home-cooked dishes on our menus. The wine list contains fascinating choices from near and far, with something to suit all palates. High-quality fresh coffee and a good range of soft drinks are available too.
New facilities include the Captain’s Room – a separate room for private dining and meetings. A terraced garden with outdoor seating will be in full bloom by spring. We welcome cyclists – there is an undercover storage area for bikes. Dogs are welcome in certain parts of the pub, so please ask at the bar. For anyone who needs to get online, there’s free WiFi access too.
Barbara Connelly and her professional team aim to provide a very pleasing and memorable pub experience for all. Enquiries: please ring 01206 822425 or email us here.
